When the promotional duo FIXED sets up shop at Santos Party House, what occurs are some of the most unspeakably raucous parties New York City has ever witnessed. Resident FIXED DJ’s Josh Houtkin and Dave Pianka are insidious masterminds of programming and promotion with knowledge of dancefloor dynamics unmatched by any other team in the metropolis.

On the 27th, they will be holding their quarterly installment featuring Simian Mobile Disco at Santos. Unhappy with their role in the middling electro-rock group Simian, James Ford and James Shaw splintered off into a production/remixing duo and utilized analog synths to create a dirty techno sound. They have since released three critically acclaimed full-lengths, including the legendary Sample and Hold remix collection and 2008's Temporary Pleasure, which featured members of Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Super Furry Animals and Gossip.
