Wolf Gang was the most underrated band in the UK, but with
considerable love starting to come in from
Pitchfork
and his debut single proper slated for release on Atlantic next month,
it's looking like that's starting to change. The single in question is
the brilliant "Lions In Cages." It's nigh-on perfect, a galloping
technicolor epic Max recorded with the legendary
Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, MGMT) that comes off like
Arcade Fire covering
"Viva La Vida", all ringing church bells and breathtaking strings arrangements.
